Have BES 4.1 for Exchange. 70+ users - all kinds of devices and providers.

one of the owners has a laptop that syncs outlook to Exchange cached mode. This owner also has a blackberry.

Situation: Owner is away from office. Blackberry works and downloads emails no problem. PC however, even with Aircard has no connectivity to Exchange.

Need to take the email from the Blackberry and "download" or "sync" with the Outlook client on the PC so he can see and read the attachments, etc.

Can this be done and if so, how? I can install the desktop mgr but I don't think it syncs the email ??? Since I can activate the units OTA, I usually don't install the desktop mgr.

As far as I know this is not possible. The BlackBerry doesn't sync email and I haven't heard of a third party app capable of this either. Keep in mind that the BB doesn't place anything in Outlook directly, it is placed in the mailbox on the Exchange server which is then displayed in Outlook. The BlackBerry would need to transfer the email it has already received back on the Exchange server. It wouldn't be worth RIM's effort to make that happen.

I have heard of this request many times before and I wouldn't be surprised if someone has tried to develop an app or if there is one in the works for this.
