Hey All, I had a request handed to me by my CIO. We are trying to find out exactly what service plan a user needs to get to work with our BES depending on their carrier. We have users on Verizon, ATT, Sprint, and T-Mobile. This is what I have below, but was wondering if anybody has a better list.

You just need a Corporate or BES Plan from any carrier that offers it. BES doesn't care what carrier you have.

The CIO wants more of a concrete, "This is exactly the service plan you need" kind of a document that we can hand to the users. It's probably a good thing for all BES Admins to have to throw at the users and say, here we've done the background work, tell them you need this.

I work with a bunch of attorneys. Have to hold their hand through everything.

The plans vary from carrier to carrier. Some are voice+data, some are data-only, with voice plans added seperately. Most offer pooling of voice and data as well, which can make it more cost effective if the company is paying for all users.

There is no right answer. UserA may need a plan with more voice minutes because they use the phone a lot. UserB may not use the phone much. As long as you have voice+data, the devices will work.

You could simply start with the entry level voice+data plan (ie - 1mb data + 200 minutes of voice). If this is sufficient, great. If not, you'll know after the first bill that these numbers have been exceeded, and you can knock it up.
