Default Multiple Bes Servers on single SQL database

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

We are currently installing 2 additional Bes servers onto our system(bringing it up to 3 in total). They will all be running on the same SQL database. Running on Groupwise.

I am wondering if anyone else is running the similar setup and if you can simply do a type of drag and drop from server to server to transfer BB users. As opposed to having 2 servers on seperate databases and having to wipe the BB`s and re-activate them on the new server and DB.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks!

All you do is right click on any user and choose move user, select the server you want to throw them on and click ok. Works great and in 99% of the time its transparent to the end user

I have had 3 servers sharing one SQL DB and it worked great and easy to maintain... Dont forget to have your sql maintenance tasks in place and backups!!
