Default Licensing reporting

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,
We would like to script the availability of license.
We would like to know how much free license we have on our BBY servers.
I look into the BESMgmt base didn't find the info.
We get the list of users (UsersConfig) and the license (LicenseKeys) but how can we get the numbers of user associated with the license.
The LicenseKeys only show the license key and no other information.
Is there a way to get this information ?
Regards,
Frederic

For BlackBerry Enterprise Server 3.6

Open the BlackBerry Manager
Right-click on BlackBerry Server Management.
Click Properties.
Go to the License tab.

For BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.0

Open the BlackBerry Manager.
Right-click on BlackBerry Manager.
Click Properties.
Go to the License tab.

For BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1
Open the BlackBerry Manager.
Click on BlackBerry Domain.
In the Tasks area, click License Management under the Account heading.

This should make it easier for ya.

gibson... the user wants to script this, so it's a bit more involved that you're indicating.
To my knowledge, the license quantities aren't stored in the config DB in any usable format for scripting. This issue has been brought up here before, and I don't think a good answer has ever been found.

probably a good reason for this as if one knew where/how they stored the # of licenses, then one could manipulate that information.
