I receive the following email when creating an appointment or meeting with attendees on by BlackBerry:

Your meeting was forwarded
Besadmin has forwarded your meeting request to additional recipients.
Meeting
Test

Meeting Time
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 1:00 PM-2:00 PM.

Recipients

All times listed are in the following time zone: (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)

Sent by Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

This started ever since my account was moved to Exchange 2007. I did some research and found the following Exchange 2007 parameter:
MeetingForwardNotificationEnabled
Using the Exchange management shell, I set this paramnter to false but it did not make a difference. I still receive the email when creating a meeting from my BlackBerry.
Any ideas?

Did you ever find a resolution to this issue? I Have a BES 4.1.4 in a Exchange 2003 and 2007 test envio. and I am having the same issue.

They have solution on exchange posts..haven't tried to make sure if it works or not.


There is a setting on mailbox level and as we all now that users settings overwrite server settings this is the object that determines if the notification is viewable or not:


get-mailboxcalendarsettings "User Name" | select RemoveForwardedMeetingNotifications


If this has the value of $False the messages appears.
If this has the value of $True the messages disappear.


Here is the cmdlet to apply to the whole organization:
get-mailboxcalendarsettings | Set-MailboxCalendarSettings -RemoveForwardedMeetingNotifications $True

Did you restart exch svcs after making that adjustment? If so, did it adddress the issue?

I thought this was normal. What is the issue, or is more of a cosmetic change then an indication of a problem?
