I seem to be having problems where if you open emails on the blackberry it wont mark them as open in outlook 2003.

i have resolved this in the past by removing the user from the BES and re adding them, but this seems to be effect quite a few people now. has anyone encounter this before?

Check to see if they have Wireless reconcile enabled on the device.

It could be off or they might be pointing to a BIS service instead. If the service is correct but there is no wireless reconcile option then delete and resend the Desktop[CMIME] service book.

I would go with that first.
