Please Login to Remove!

Ok, This is strange.
I recently accepted an appointment from my personal email on my BB. It went onto my BB cal and sent the confirmation to the meeting organizer just fine. Problem: That appointment will NOT sync wireless to my exchange calendar with all the other appointments...HELP??!!

I have a similar problem in that when I enter an appointment on my Blackberry calendar, it does not sync back to my Outlook Calendar. whenever I enter an appoiuntment in Outlook from my computer, it shows up almost immediately on my Blackberry. Any help with entering from my Blackberry and having the appointment show up in Outlook would be appreciated.

Is Wireless for calendar enabled? Coverage problems--I am not sure about this one being that you can receive appointments and you just dont see it.

What version of mail and bes are you running?

Angry Wireless on

Yeah Wireless is on. This only happens with appointment that are sent to my NON-EXCHANGE email. I check a couple of personal accounts along with the exchange account from my BB. The only time I have this issue is if I accept an invitation that is sent to my personal account. If I receive and accept an invitation through the exchange account...no problems.
What I don't understand is how once the appointment is on the calendar it does not sync. If I just add an appointment to the calendar via the BB it syncs fine.

Wait..I am confused.

If you accept an appointment in exchange, it appears on your BB. If you accept an appointment on your BB sent by your corp address exchange, you see it on notes.

However, when you have a calendar entry from your personal account, and accept from your BB, it does not show up and vice versa ---from personal accounts?!

Is the above correct explanation or understanding?

I dont particularly know the answer to this but it is possible that BIS Service does not provide wireless calendar service. The reason you have that option is thru corporate exchange server.

Oh, Yes that is an oops, I meant to say exchange, not notes. I am a notes person thats why, force of habit.

Well all i can tell you from my opinion is that trying to reconcile from your BIS accounts and hoping it will reach:

1. Exchange Account
2. Synchronize back and forth with your BIS account

will NOT happen to my knowledge. BIS and BES are separate the the fact that you want this mix and match to happen will only cause chaos for you and your environment should anything happen to the device.

Try connecting directly to the server and run the DeskTop Manager and select generate a new encryption code.

BIS AND BES do not sync with each other. Your Outlook is configured for BES account. What is sounds like a mix and match scenario.

What if you ask the person to re-send the invitation (delete the original) one and see where the email reaches, your personal account or exchange account.
