I have just installed two blackberry enterprise servers at two different clients, one with exchange 2003 on SBS and another with Exchange 2007.

I have followed the instructions for installing and configuration, but in each case the BES system refuses to add the the users until BESAdmin is made a DOMAIN Admin, which is not ideal.

I just get a load of event id: 20265 in the event log.

Can anyone please advise why this occurs

Can you post the entire event?

I believe if you are installing the DB server locally you have to give the service account higher privileges than if the DB server was installed remotely. I am not sure if that is the case with your situation, but it is worth a look.
