Hello,

I have this strange problem with our BES (version 4.1.4.12). We had to setup a second exchange 2003 server (in the same organization). We started to move the mailboxes and the emails where synchronized without problem while the calendar and the address book was not working. We discovered that was a permission issue. Now everything works fine except for one user that can send/receive mail, the contacts are ok while the calendar is still working only one-way (Outlook to device).

This person had the same issue as you, the iDispatch 1271 error. Check out this thread, it's short but may be of help:

Did you find a solution to this? I've got the same problem and ive tried everything.. Permissions, group membership, setcalstore.exe, scoured google for all error messages.. nothing.

If you figured it out please let me know!

Seeing as it's one user, there's a good chance it may be the mailbox. Have you contacted RIM? That would be worth checking into.

Also, whats your version of BES and both Exchange servers? MAPI32 and CDO versions from all servers?
