Is there anyway of stopping Public Contact folders wireless syncing...

You can not sync a Public "Folder" wirelessly on the BlackBerry.

The only folder that can sync wirelessly to the BlackBerry Address Book is the default Contacts folder for the Exchange Mailbox associated with the email account (Outlook Contacts folder).

The Global Address Book does not sync to the BlackBerry, but is available for lookup on the BlackBerry, and as far as I know you can't disable the Lookup function.

Hi J. I have just deployed 18 handsets, and all seem to sync the local contacts associated with the exchange account & also a shared contacts folder that resides on the exchange public folder!! Wirelessly... Strange

This has been an often requested feature ... lets keep our fingers crossed that RIM does something about this in upcoming versions. ... even though public folders are slated to go away in the future; they're still here strong.

So there's no way to stopping BES syncing public folders to the handsets ??
