Which service pack of SQL 2005 are you using?

Have you restored from a previous SQL backup and tried again, generating the same error?

This may be a longshot, but is your database set to case insensitive collation? If it is case sensitive it may not find the table it is looking for b/c the capitalization is off. What you want to see is "CI" somewhere in the collation settings (i.e. sort order rules) on the DB, like this:

The SQL version is SQL 2005 SP2 (Refresh - pre GDR)

The collation is case insensitive (SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS).

No luck as of yet, Thanks for the suggestions so far, greatly appreciatated.
At a loss atm, guess I will give RIM a third shot at this one....

One other message that keeps showing up in the logs, is that a problem (sorry dont know SQL well)

[30000] (01/18 13:48:23.947):{0xD48} SQL Informational Message from CBESDBInstaller::Connect: Changed database context to 'BESMgmt'.
