Default 8310 OTA Password

Please Login to Remove!

Can anyone help me with a slight issue we have with the new O2 8310 handhelds. It has come to our attention, that when an OTA password is sent from a BES to one of these devices, the user is not notified until after they have successfully managed to unlock the handheld.

On all other verions of handhelds we use there is a notification message but with the new 8310's, we have to keep pressing unlock until the password attempt count has returned to 0. I found something on a forum that says to disable Content Protection but this is already set to disable.

I have put a call in with O2 but i have had no reply yet.

Any ideas?
