I have a 7130 in my hands that will not co-operate. the user was having some troubles with it, and after a bit of work I decided a complete wipe to factory defaults was the easiest way to fix everything.

I went to do the wipe, and now it won't come back on. the white screen with hourglass is displayed, and the LED is blinking red at a rate of about 2 blinks/second. I'm not quite sure what to do. FYI, it was sitting like that for over 2 hours, and I pulled the battery and tried again, and it's been sitting like that for another hour.

Any help would be appreciated.

Was content protection enabled on that device? If so, the wipe could take hours...but since you pulled the battery you may need to follow JSander's links and reinstall the OS.

I've tried re-installing the OS, and it still doesn't work. We don't have content protection enabled on any of our devices.

I did the OS install, comes to the same problem. I'm gonna leave it overnight and see what happens.
