Default Global filed mappings reset to default . Help !

Please Login to Remove!

i just resetted accidently the global field mappings to factory defaults.
How can i restore my previous settings ? Where are this settings stored ?
Can i restore them with a backup of a special database ?

They are stored in the SQL database in a table called SyncGlobalMapping. You could restore a backup of the SQL database offline and then find the settings in there, and then just remap them in production.

Thx, can you pls tell me in which sql database ? I know the besmgmt, master, model .....
And how can i open the sql db ? Sorry, i normaly have nothing to do with sql .

i found now a table syncglobalmapping in the besmgmt db. i opened the sql server enterprise manager and looked in databases --> besmgmgt --> tables .
but how can i import this table (if this is the right one) from my backup ?

Reading, reading, reading ...... Now i found the All Tasks --> Import data option. But i dont know what to do in the "choose source" (sorry im translating from german screens) screen. what source do i have to choose , so i can set the path to my backup db ?

And the next update: I restored the backup as new database . Now i have to deattach the db so that i can copy the table from the resored db, but i cant deattach it, allways in use. What can i do so the db is not in use so i can deattach it ?

Is done. But with problems, had to restore a backup....
