| Random RIM/Tilt/BES craziness - some devices affected not all? Please Login to Remove! Yesterday 2 of 7 Tilts running BBC to a BES server just up and quit communicating with it. They had full network access otherwise, and BBC even indicated that it was on the blackberry network, and had a valid IP.
This morning I tried resetting the phones, checking the status, disable and re-enable the radios, pop the batts, regenerate keys, etc etc... all to no avail.
After a couple hours on the phone with AT&T - they have me un-install bbc and re-install, and also delete and re-create the user account on the BES. This fixes the first of the two devices, and I am mid-way through doing it on the 2nd, and a 3rd device is then experiencing the same problem.
On the latter 2, it took multiple re-installations of bbc to get it to appear in programs and settings menus.
I am REALLY starting to hate these tilts - always little stupid things with them - suspending bbc on their own and not resuming, messages not reconciling, other random issues.
Since I have gotten these things, I am spending almost half of each day trying to keep them connected or reconnecting or god knows what else, that I cant get any of my real job done.
Does anyone know or have a similar experience regarding phones just randomly losing contact with the BES, some devices apparently at the same time? It is driving me mad.
