BESmgmt, whats inside ?

Can someone tell me what kind of information is stored in the besmgmt ?
I ask because i had to restore a 2 days old besmgmt and im not sure what impact this has.
What is saw is that all new user accounts fromt that time had to be added again. What else do i have to expect ?

The BESMgmt database contains the CALs, SRP, BES name, user list, Software configurations, IT Policies, etc.

It does not contain user data like email or contacts. If you didn't make any changes like adding/removing users then you didn't lose anything by restoring a 2 day old database.

Hope that clarifies things for ya in regards to the database.

Does it keep a record of last contact etc, so that restoring a 2 day old backup will result in the resending of any email received over that two day period?

The user stats are stored in the mailbox, at least that's how it works for Exchange. So the pending/sent count is there are their current status like running/initializing all those are in the mailbox.

Penidng mail should deliver regardless of the database.

On the Domino platform this is kept in the States db.
