Question Can you have 2 active BES routers?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

1. I was wondering can you have two BES routes, each in different locations, to route email to a single BES server?

2. Do you need a seperate BES license for BES router in DMZ?

Thanks!

This is not SMTP. A BES can connect to only 1 router.

The BES connects to a Router and that Router connects to RIM. You can have 2 Routers for redundancy in case a router fails or Internet is lost at a location.
