Hi,

I am trying to install BES for MDS on VMWare/WinXP SP2

I have installed this many times in the past on PC's with no problems,
but now, with 4.1.3 bundle (29), it keeps asking me for a Windows Login password during the "Installation Info"
step in the install process, and does not accept the user password.

It keeps poping up a dialog saying "Please enter a valid password"

I am accessing the VM through the console, so it cannot be a Remote Desktop issue.

Any advice would be appriciated.

I also tested on a PC with the same version of WinXP SP2 installed.
That too gave me the same problem.

The only difference between these 2 installs and others that worked, are that these 2 Windows installs are WinXP volume licenses.

I dont know if that makes any difference ?
