Trying to get these two to work together and those that upgraded to IE7 prior to running the app loader get a "cannot create the loader active-x" even with local admin rights.

These users are not running Vista, are they? If so, you might want to make sure they right click IE and choose " Run as Administrator".

If you are in an AD environment, do you have any GPO's that do not allow the running of Active X objects?
