I registered and downloaded the latest version of Professional Software that comes with 1 CAL.
I installed it in a domain controller using the administrator account. Later on I discovered that it should have been installed using the besadmin account which already existed (for another BES installation on another machine). So I followed the RIM articles for changing the BB service accounts, importing the registry information, etc. Following this, the BB was no longer able to access the GAL (the global address list in AD, ie, when you chose "lookup" in contacts). Unable to figure this out, I decided to reboot the server, wipe the handheld, and go through another activation.
However, after deleting the user, I am unable to add it back again. I get the following message:
"The number of users selected exceeds the number of available licenses. Please select a fewer number of users to add."
