For Lotus Domino, on the Domino console, if you type in 'tell bes about' without the quotations, it will give you the exact version: ie: 4.1.4.20 which is 4.1.4 MR2

It also shows the exact version on startup of the domino server

go look in add / remove programs like my OP says. - I did go to add / remove programs and got the same version = 4.1.4 (Bundle 25) - I really want to upgrade to the lastest and greatest - which one is that?

That would be 4.1.4b as mentioned earlier in one of my posts.

bundles reference the code build that a given application is ... its a common practice across application developers.

Bundle 30 of 4.1.6 is 4.1 SP6 Gold

Can this be updated for BES 5.0.x?
On w2k8 the way how to identify the version is not valid anymore. ("Add or Remove Programs" does not show this information)

OK: Here for 2008 where the Version is not displayed per default:
1. On the taskbar, click Start > Settings > Control Panel or Start > Control Panel.
2. Double-click Programs and Features.
3. If the window does not display the Version column, perform the following actions:
a. Right-click on any column heading. Click More....
b. In the dialog box, select Version.
c. Click OK.
4. In the list of currently installed programs, search for BlackBerry Enterprise Server

BES 5.0.1 MR1 = Bundle 70 (there has been a 72 - but it was recalled: See KB20277

Quick question, on the link above to Domino:

View Document

It lists 4.1.6.55 as Sp7 MR 7, but to my knowledge there is no MR 7 for SP7?? And we've never applied SP7 yet. IS that just a typo and should be SP6 MR 7??

Also I don't think we're going to 5 just yet, but prudent to update to the latest SP6 MR8 and possibly to SP7? Is there a roll-up or do I have to download them all and apply them one at a time?

In the past I believe I did them all one at a time..

I think that DOC is out dated.

SP6 MR8 is available.
or
SP7 MR1 is out. Just download SP7 apply and then do same for MR1 for SP7.
