Hi,

I have read through the threads that are simialr to the issue I am experiencing, but my scenario is a bit different.

The calendar sync works for some users on my network, and does not work for others.

Our Exchange (2003 version 6.5.7638.1, on 2003 Enterprise Edition Server and BES 4.1 no Service Packs) setup is as follows.

We have 2 different storage groups:
1 - Critical (Holds executive and departmental mailboxes) Only has 1 Information Store

2 - Main Storage Group (has all individual e-mail mailboxes). THis storage group contains to different information stores
a) - General Users
b) - IT Department Mailboxes.

Now, for some reason, all users who's mailboxes are in either the IT Information Store or the Critical storage group can sync calendars and contacts wirelessly.

Anyone who is in the General Users Information store cannot sync calendars with Outlook wirelessly, this has to be completed via a USB sync.

I have checked permissions on all servers, storage group and information stores and everything is correct, just for some reason, the users in the General users Information Store cannot use the wireless sync for their calendars.

has anyone else experienced an issue like this?

This is definitely not normal.

What happens if you move a user to one of the other mailbox stores?

Check the MAGT log for one of the users when you test the Calendar. You'll find some lines and the error wil be there.
