Default Upgrading from 4.1.3 to 4.1.4 MP4

Please Login to Remove!

HI all, are current infrastructure is as follows:

Exchange 2003 SP2 (Clustered)
1 x BES (OS is MS Server 2003 SP2, BES is 4.1.3)
Database on clustered SQL 2005 server.

SP2 was accidentally applied to the BES, 4.1.3 is not supported with an OS of SP2. Can anyone comment on any issues faced with upgrading to 4.1.4? Can I just apply maintanence pack 4 without having to do each MP individually?

I am asking because if we are not supported with SP2 and 4.1.3 I will need to upgrade to ensure our production BES is supported.

Thanks!!!

J

You first need to apply SP4 for BES.
After you are done, and your BES is at 4.1.4, you can then apply MR4.

Ok, so once SP4 is applied I can just install MP4, no need to install previous MR's correct?

Has anyone encountered issues with SP4 MP4 configurations?

Just make sure you get a full backup of your besmgmt database first then you should be good to go. install sp4 reboot, install mr4 reboot.
