Having a dumb moment... Is it possible to activate devices via wire for different users without having an outlook profile set up on your workstation? OTA activation is a bit sketchy at times, so this would be a perfect solution.

Me, I thought the BB might be smart enough to take the route to activate if plugged in, but that doesn't prove to be true.

plug the device into the back of the bes server via usb, assign device to the relevant user.

job done.. alternatively you need to setup a mail profile to masquerade as that user..

Gotcha, not possible to get anywhere near the BES server Too big of an environment.

I guess if I have the BES console installed on my pc that would work as well. Will try that.
