Question Pushing a app OTA to 8310

Please Login to Remove!

I used to distribute my own version of Emergency Contact List to some of the blackberries in my environment. With the 8310 model this doesn't fly anymore. So my guess is as of 4.2.2 it won't install OTA. With 8800, 8100, 7100 and 7130 it works fine. A local install with desktop manager goes OK as well.

To avoid walking as much as possible I now provide a http link. Still it keeps me puzzled a bit. Any ideas?

Cheers, Siemp.

It sounds like you might need to update your device.xlm since it is working for some of the older handhelds.

I must admit off fiddling with my own device but these handhelds all come in straight from Vodafone. Guess my real question is then what is device.xlm used for? The ECL app won't install on these crisp devices....
