Default How can this be, 2 BES mailbox on one device

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys, I have pearl loner device that is used for different users.

What I mean is if someone goes on a work trip I activate him on that device and wipe him when he returns and pass it on to someone else later one.

Now my problem is , I just activated someone else ( it was wiped before ) and that person is now receiving the old users email and his also ....

It's as if there are 2 BES mailbox being delivered to one device....

I have tried reactivating it / wipping it and I have even deleted the old user from the BES server.... and as a last resort , I removed the BES security to the user from Active Directory without sucess.

Can anyone tell me how to only get the email from the new offical user?...

thanks

Jay

Look through the service books and delete all entries that start with "Desktop"

Then reactivate it with the new user.

It's also worth checking that the user did not configure a BIS account for this device.

Only one mailbox per device will work. Odds are it's a BIS account, that's the most logical solution anyways.

Pretty much where I was going with it as well.

Open up 1 message each for both addresses on the BB.

At the top, check the received using: field. One will definitely say Desktop or Desktop Secure, but check what the other one says.

Most likely Unknown, or a bis integrated email address.

Let us know.

As for the field Received Using it says ( Unknown ) instead of Desktop ( secure )
