Default configuring SNMP

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm trying to setup SNMP monitoring on our blackberry server.
I followed the instructions on BlackBerry Search Results as well as BlackBerry Search Results but it seems it doesn't work.
E.g. when I do:
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public IPADRES | grep -i 3530
or
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public IPADRES | grep -i bes
it does not return anything at all.

All help is very much appreciated.

Found the problem: I was doing an snmpwalk on the whole tree which won't work. You need to query directly the oid of the value you want to know.
E.g.:
snmpwalk -v 1 -c public IPADRES 1.3.6.1.4.1.3530.5.25.1.202.1
(which returns the number of queued messages)
