Question Deploying a BES server in Shanghai China

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

Just wondering if any of the BES admins here have setup a BES server running in Mainland China? The company I work for is setting up a Datacentre in Shanghai and we're looking to put Exchange 2007 & a BES server there.

Q's for everyone:
Are there any regional regulatory/config issues with setting up the server behind "The Great Firewall of China"?

Is ap.srp.blackberry.net the regional SRP server for China or is there a more "regional" one.

Any government paperwork that must be filled out to setup a BES due to the encrypted communications channel, etc..?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Warmest regards,
ZG
