Default BES upgrade

Please Login to Remove!

I am currently running BES 4.1.0 (build 60). I notice that I am little behide on the SP and patches. Question is do I have to install all the Service Packs in order or can I just install the most current SP4 MR5? What about the patches? Are the patches included in the SP?

Thanks.

All SP's are cumulative. You should install SP4 then the latest MR for it. That will get you up to date.

Great...thanks a bunch!

One more thing, will I have to reboot the Exchange server after installing the SP?

Thanks again.

no, that would be crazy if you did have to restart Exchange.

Whenever you upgrade the BES you do not have to reboot the Exchange, only the BES gets a reboot.
