Default PIM wireless synchronization

Please Login to Remove!

BES 4.1.4

Does anyone know if wireless synchronization is possible for bb prior to 8830. I am moving few users who have 8703e, 8703 or evenolder 7250. I do not see an option to set for Address Book Wireless Synchronization YES/NO.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Regards

I would say yes it is possible. I thought when you run enterprise activation it was set by default. you can change it if you wnted to turn in off.

got to your calandar->options , scroll to the bottom of the list and there is an option to turn on/off wireless synchronization.

I have a few 8703e's from VZW and used wireless sync to activate them. We even have a 7250 still activated on my bes 4.1.4 (bundle25)

I hope this helps!

You might have an IT policy not allowing wireless sync of contacts.

Thanks but the when I activate 8830, I see an option right in the device by going to address book - Option - last option is to set yes or no to wireless synch but the same is not true for older models. The device gives no such option. IT policy allows it and both 8830 and older devices using the same IT policy. Any idea, why?
