Question Blackberry Browser and Blackberry Pro

Please Login to Remove!

Dear All,

I'm using Blackberry Professional on our Exchange server.

I was wondering if there was a way to make all our devices use the Balckberry Browser and settings instead of Voidafone Live (which costs money)?

I've set a couple up manually on the devices, just wondering if there is an IT policy to do this instead.

What is BlackBerry Professional? If its the BES then you can setup a - small group first - policy to remove that application or possibly restrict it from being installed. However I fear that its like other 3rd party web apps that are installed the next time the device registers with the network (HRT). Alternatively you can setup an MDS on the BES and settings will instruct corporate intranet access on the BlackBerry's to use that BlackBerry Browser.

Can anyone confirm/deny my suggestion?
