Default Exchange 2007 SP1 and BES Server

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I am currently running BES 4.1.4 Release 25, and I just upgraded to Exchange SP1. I had a few questions:

1) Where can I get the BES MR4? Should I download the one on BB's site that says "Software For BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1 for Microsoft(R) Exchange", or is there a special section somewhere for BES Server?

2) Should I uninstall ADC on the BES server, and Also Exchange? I am assuming the answer is yes.

3) Should I uninstall 2003 Exchange? The answer I think is yes.

4) Install the CDO (I havn't done it yet)

I did try to install Enterprise Server MR5, but I got this error. (I did find the MSI and point to it)

Error 1706. No valid source could be found for product BlackBerry Enterprise Server for Microsoft Exchange. The Windows Installer cannot continue.

Thanks for all replies

Default

actually, I was able to get past number 1, the issue was that the MSI and Cabs were deleted from the last SP. (The old admin).

Number 3 I am still working on. I can not uninstall exchange manager. Thus, I can not install CDO. Anyone have advice for me? I read the best practice was to use Add/Remove programs, which is not working for me.

Im not running MR4, I dont know about MR5 so I will wait.
