Check if user has BES subscription on BB
We have a lot of users buying Blackberry's and they tell us that the provider they use have BES enabled. Often the Enterprise Activation fails and it turns out that they don't have BES on their number but BIS. Is there a way that one can check on the handheld if BES is enabled or BIS? I searched to the BB but I don't see the type of the subscription. Is it possible to check?

Maybe in the Service Books. I have a UID under PROVISIONING that gives reference to BES. I don't have a BIS account BB to compare the Service Books so can't say if it's the same or not.

I usually just call T-Support and ask if the PIN is properly provisioned, helps getting an email about the call stating the device doesn't have Enterprise Server on the account when I inform the user why it's not working.

I have had instances of the wireless providor switching the account types when upgrading the users berry to a newer model.
