I have just deployed 5 new 8830s, 2 of them were done about 2 weeks ago and now 3 more in the last 2 days.
The first two were awesome, activated them using the Desktop Manager method, all contacts, calendar, email items were pulled down as expected.
The last 3 are a different story. They pull down emails, pull down the calendar but no contacts. Plus calendar appts that we setup on the BB do not get pushed up to Outlook even though Wireless Sync is enabled on the Calendar.
When the Activation is running on the BB while connected to the user's desktop it appears to hang at:
Synchronizing Service Destkop
And they never progress beyond that.
To add to this, even though they start receiving emails if I check the status of the phone by going to Setup Wizard --> Email Setup the device is showing as Not Activated, BEM is showing them at Running however.
