Show non-exchange user from AD in GAL

Hi all!

We run a hybrid environment here, with users on 2 email systems. Some on exchange, (those with bberrys), and some on a linux system, (those without bberries).

The people on the other system are NOT exchange users, but they do have active directory accounts with all the info filled out.

Is there ANY way to get these "non-exchange" users to show in the GAL??

You can add them as mail contacts to the GAL.

Burned again by google-ing with the wrong terms...

My solutuion was just to:

Right-click on the user and select "Exchange Tasks"

Select "Establish E-mail Address" and hit Next.

Darn you bad search terms and personal stupidity!

Actually... I lied.

Now when i try to send an email to this user i get this back:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

A configuration error in the e-mail system caused the message to bounce between two servers or to be forwarded between two recipients. Contact your administrator.

Edit: From the event log:

Cause: A forward loop was detected by the categorizer. This is a common hosting configuration problem caused when someone uses the provisioning tool to create a contact in one organization unit and creates a user in a different organization user that share the same e-mail address.

Solution: Verify that you do not have a user in organizational unit and a contact in a different organizational unit that have the same e-mail address.
