Default One Blackberry slow to receive messages

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,
we have a BES with 90 Blackberry's connected to it... Recently one of our users reported that he doesn't seem to receive any e-mails all day then, all of a sudden, he'll get a bunch of e-mails at the same time that he's received in his Exchange account throughout the day.

I checked his "don't deliver when handheld connected" setting and it was OK, but he says this happens even if the device isn't connected to the PC anyway.
He has a full GPRS signal all throughout the day when it's not receiving anything.

Also, when he tries a lookup he gets "lookup failed"

None of these problems are affecting any of our other users (trust me, this lot are real quick to let you know when they have a problem with their Blackberry!!).

I've resent the service book. I've even killed and recreated his Blackberry, (even deleted his account from the BES) but the problem remains.
I haven't seen any errors in the server logs.
In the BES application it shows his device is talking to the network, but it says "Last Forward time" as a few hours ago - when he received his last message, even though I've sent him a few tests.

This was first reported last week and nothing I've done has got him working again.
A faulty device, perhaps?

Any help you can offer greatly appreciated.

This sounds like a faulty device ...

It is being extremely inconsistent. You could try combing through logs using the BRK tools; but I would first try a different device ... possibly try an OS Upgrade on it first.
