Default Calling SetCDOCalendar error

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, first time post but I use this site all the time.

I am running an exchange 2K server on Server 2k3, and a separate BES server with version 4.1.4.12 running on server 2k3. The hand units we are running are the 7100 series, outlook is 2k7.

I have been having a strange problem where if the user goes and makes or changes an appointment with their blackberry, it causes the following error to be logged and that user will not be able to receive any new emails or calender events on their hand unit until the offending calender event is removed and the BES restarted.

################
CDO helper 00f44080 - worker thread 00001aa4 not responding, Calling SetCDOCalendar
################

I could reproduce the problem on the users account but not mine.

I checked the CDO and MAPI32 versions and this is what I have:

############
CDO.DLL

BES cdo.dll c:\windows\system32\cdo.dll (Version 6.0.6249.0)
exchange cdo.dll d:\program files\exchsrvr\bin\cdo.dll (Version 6.0.6249.0)

MAPI32.DLL

BES mapi32.dll c:\windows\system32 (Version 6.0.4417.0)
BES mapi32.dll c:\program files\exchsrvr\bin (Version 6.0.4417.0)
exchange mapi32.dll c:\windows\system32 (Version 6.0.6249.0)
exchange mapi32.dll d:\program files\exchsrvr\bin (Version 6.0.649.0)

Anyone seen this before? or have any idea how to fix it? Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Installing the Exchange 2K SP3 tools with the new mapi32.dll looks to have fixed the problem calendar sync is now working both ways again.

Thanks,

Chris
