| Logs Folder Overloaded Please Login to Remove! Over the weekend I noticed that backups of my BES were failing with snapshot errors. I logged in to it to see what the issue could possible be and noticed that my data drive was 100% full. I dug into it and noticed that the Logs directory (driveletter:\Program Files\Research In Motion\Blackberry Enterprise Server\Logs) was the culprit. Apparently there is a log folder in there for each day since I deployed this server two years ago. Neither of the folders are especially large (average is about 25MB) but they have been adding up. I'm unsure of the importance of these logs as I've never used them before, so my question is, should I look into an archival solution for these BES logs in case I ever need them, or can I just delete old logs with no worries. Also, is there anywhere in the BES Management/Configuration consoles where I can tweak the logging settings? |
