Bes 3.6 on a member server

if bes svr gets rebooted, 1 of my users with a 8800 cannot delete emails from his phone. also, the messages all show blue icons that are hard to see whether the email has been read before, etc... normally the icons are orange envelopes.

the other 5 users on the server have no problems.

one temporary solution is to open bb desktop mgr and clear the messages on his 8800, then hit the arrow to reload them from the desktop.

any ideas on a proper solution?

and if user deletes message on phone, it actually does delete in outlook, just not on the phone.

Welcome to BBF! This sounds like a problem with this users device.

I would try backing up the device, loading the newest OS, restoring data and re-activating ... you also might want to look at upgrading from 3.6 as it is way out of support now too.
