Default BES on Exchange 2003 & 2007 - separate domains

Please Login to Remove!

We have working infrastructure of BES with Exchange 2003. BES and E2k3 are located in domain A. Initially all of the users were in domain A, but now they are moved to a domain B (BESadmin account remains in domain A). We're on migration path from E2k3 to E2k7. A new Exchange server is located in domain B.
We're going to move BB enabled users from E2k3 to E2k7. Will this configuration work OK?

Thanks in advance.

Cross domain is unsupported with BES. I wouldn't but you can get it working with trust relationships across the domains. I've not seen anyone using cross domain with mixed mode Exchange versions.

Thanks for you ansver BBAdmin.

I'm affraid that I've missed an important detail: domains A and B are members of one forest, so there's no problem with authentication between domains.
If it's still not enough - should we move BB server and users to the domain B at the same time? It would be difficult to move hundreds of VIP's in a short period of time...

Domains and Forests (well an Exchange Org cannot span multiple forests so I guess it does represent a limit of sorts.) mean nothing when it comes to Exchange & BES. The limit for a BES is the Exchange Organization. Are all Exchange servers a part of the same Exchange Organization? If so, you can migrate ... if not, you cannot.

All Exchange servers are a part of the same Exchange Organization. So, I'm going to work.

Thanks a lot.
