Default Some messages not arriving at device - 07-27-2005, 11:50 AM

We are running BES 3.6 SP2a and Exchange 5.5 SP4

I have just been trying to resolve an issue for a user and not sure where Iam going wrong.

User is able to send messages from his device. The user gets sent a message to him and the message arrives on his device as the filter rules say anything with To & BCC and CC are forwarded.

He is a member of a Ditstribution List, but when messages are sent to this List, the message appears in his outlook but never gets to his device.

I have reset the device, removed his account from BES and readded him, sent some test messages, resynced, regenerated encryption key and still got the issue. I have even setup a filter saying anything 'Sent to' that list gets forwarded and no joy. Also no errors in eventvwr.

any ideas whats happening ?

There is another option on the filters that says "when none of these rules apply: Forward message to handheld". Make sure you have that enabled.

I ended up removing the user and adding him back on and that seems to have resolved it. Not quite sure what caused that issue, but its working fine now.
