Hi Guys,

weve had a few large bills in our company recently $4k+ due to people using their blackberrys as modems(which ive taken care of), people using IBS browser (which has also been taken care of) but also through internet usage while 'roaming'.

I know in the later blackberrys there is an option to turn off data while roaming, however i cant seem to find a way to manage that via the IT policy on the BES.

Is there such an option?

I do not know if there is a way to limit when data is used... but you had a $4 million bill???

Not sure about on the BES; isn't it something that you'd have a chat with your carrier about to get a roaming limit set on the SIM?

The latest policy reference guide has a couple of references to roaming, but only in the context of software upgrades.
