Ive checked the logs theres no mention of any glaringly obvious errors, the MAPI stuff finds the exchange server no problems and i can add the user into bes without any trouble.
as far as i know all the services are running, clicking start all services in BES should be enough right?
after checking the services list it says one is disabled... but thats the default... nothing we've done.
also in the utility folder theres the bbsrvsomething.exe that tests the connection to the Blackberry server... which connects and returns ok so thats what makes me think its a firewall thing.
im not sure whether the activation worked well wirelessly or not as the user has his bb sync'd via cable, I tried to activate it wirelessly and the BES got the pin but nothing else... then after a couple of hours the activation password set line changed to activated (or something of that ilk)
it may be O2's fault but the guy couldnt find any information on whether he has BIS of BES... since its a business account i would assume its a BES account but im not too sure so i need him to check first.
