How do I transfer the CAL from an old Blackberry to a new Blackberry on a BES Express server?

you dont, it is assigned to the user in BES.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do I just do an new Enterprise Activation on his new BB while is old one is activated? Seems strange there would not be some step to tell the BES there is a new activation.

just do a new activation or you can wipe the old first and then activate.

You can do an import from a legacy server. You don't have to reactivate that way. I did my cut over from 2.2 that way. But the user had to do a sync on the desktop manager to get the address book lookup to work. Not sure why. I didn't have time to stop and figure it out.
