I was wondering if anyone has been able to batch the assignment of static mailbox IDs to users. I've look into user group settings and the resource kit but there doesn't seem to be the ability to do this. Is there anyway around this issue? I'm thinking that there could be a way to write directly into the database once the users are configured?

If you mean mailbox agent IDs, TMK you can't--the BES dynamically assigns the mailbox agent ID when it starts up. You can manually specify a static 3 digit agent ID in users' properties, but I'm not sure if you can batch that. There are regedits that will let you limit the number of users assigned to each mailbox agent but it still could assing a new ID the net time its restarted.

you should be able to do this with direct database injection.

Take a user, look at their settings, assign them to a static agent (200 for example) and then look at the db again.
