Default Allow Auto Attachment Download

Please Login to Remove!

So I noticed quite a few new features in 4.1.5 regarding to IT policies, so I've created a "Test" policy and added all the new features to it..

one was "Allow Auto Attachment Download" ( i dont remember seeing this in 4.0 so I'm not 100% sure it's new).. but I'm trying to get it to work and my attachments aren't being precached, they are still being downloaded when I open them.

Isn't this feature supposed to download the attachment as the email gets sent so that I can open and view instantly vs waiting for it to download?

Yes, a lot of the new features found in BES 4.1.5 will only work with handheld software 4.5

thats probably not the best option to enable at this point anyways with devices only having 64 megs or less of total file space.

Well, according to the docs, it says this feature requires 4.1.5, and bb hh os 4.2.2

I'm currently on a Curve which has 4.2.2 and the attachments aren't auto downloading unless I tell them to..

BTW, this isnt' a feature I put into production policy, this is on a test policy I created for myself for testing purposes.
