Default Calendar / CDO & permissions question

I had a client buy a new Exchange server, but I wasn't told about it being deployed a few weeks ago, and was told today they were having one-way calendar sync issues.

The sync problem is fixed, but does anyone know if appointments that were entered into the handheld before the permissions were broken will ever sync back to Exchange & Outlook?

The user(s) could delete/undelete the Desktop[Sync] service book and trigger a wireless sunc of all PIM's. That's your best bet.
