Default How to pass domain credentials..

Please Login to Remove!

I am trying to access an Intranet webpage via my 8830 and keep getting Unauthorized. Is there any way to pass my domain credentials to the site when I try to access it?

I am no MDS expert, but I think we'd need a bit more info.

If you were using a standard browser on the LAN:
What sort of site is it, what protocols does it use, what authentication mechanisms does it require, etc?

The webpage is a simple IIS webpage but requires domain credentials to view it. I know it goes through MDS, but I dont know which of the 50 (ok exagerrating) authentication types. I have a 4.1.4 server in an exchange environment.

Your site is most likely using "Integrated Authentication", you should enable "Basic Authentication" on the IIS website and set "Support HTTP Authentication" to TRUE on MDS...

I use integrated just fine. The device prompts for the info and the BES proxies it through. The Support HTTP Authentication does have to be enabled on the BES though. Also, you can edit a config file on the BES and change the default domain that shows up on the device prompt. I can't recall the name of the file off of the top of my head, but I have to mod it every time we service pack the BES.

Set the "Support HTTP Authentication" option on the MDS-CS servers to True, and change the C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry Enterprise Server\MDS\Servers\Instance\config\MdsLogin.conf file to replace "company.com" domain with your AD DNS domain.
