Default Exch07+BES4.1.4 No Calendar Sync

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys has anyone had this issue.

I am testing for our migration to Exchange 07 and I have my test blackberry syncing everything but the Calendar. Contacts and Email work fine but I get no sync on the calendar what-so-ever

My current envirnoment consists of:

Windows 2008 + Exch07
Windows 2003 + BES Server

Since 07 doesn't have a CDO anymore I am not sure if i still need to do the old trick of regsvr32 cdo.dll

I have a freshly installed 4.1.4.15 version of BES.

Has anyone had this issue...?

Just to update...

I have one-way syncing working. It will now sync from the BB to exchange but PC to BB does not work.

Yes i did the "one-way sync fix" to issue the correct ad permissions.

FYI 4.1.5 is available.

Did you Download and install Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 on your BES server. After requires restart.

Yes but now it appears that it's working there is just an insane amount of lag. I have been managing BES servers since 2006 and I've never seen one take 45 minutes to Sync...all of my test calendar entries just came flooding on the BB, but if i try to make updates to them it takes several several minutes to apply.

I will try the 4.1.5 update to see if that corrects anything.

4.1.5 was painless for most, and was fast.

On another note, once you upgrade BES sends out new service books, this might explain the delay.

Hrm now we have an interesting dilemma. You cannot update the Bes Express Server to 4.1.5 for testing. You have to have the full version unlock key.

Does anyone know a way around that? I cannot move my users to a new platform without testing.

Oh you have BES express. Not sure if 4.1.5 has been released for it then.

OIC, you can get a trial of 4.1.5 for testing.
Not sure if it will upgrade BESX though.
