Default BES 4.0 and Goodlink 4.5 CoExisting

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BES 4.0 environment running against Exchange 2000 and am considering adding several Palm Treo 650s with Goodlink 4.5 to the mix.
Do these products (BES and Goodlink) play well together against the same Exchange server? Any pitfalls I should be aware of?
Thanks.

Good recommededs not installing Goodlink on the same server as BES but they should co-exist fine otherwise.

I would probably try to make the VMWare option useful. You might have problem with the USB ports, but everything should work good otherwise.

I have had BES 4 and Goodlink 4 running on the same server for quite sometime now. If you go about installing each product following the instructions to a T, you will be fine.

Both BES 4 and Goodlink 4 do OTA activations that are a piece of cake, so in my experienced opinion, I would not use VMware nor would I worry about local resources. I setup users using remote desktop almost on a daily basis, as that is one of my demo servers for potential customers.

cd.

While it has been done, we don't recommend you install both on the same server and it isn't a supported configuration, but as Corey said, it can be done. Outside of that, there is no problem with the two co-existing.
